This policy explains what DECODE.SYS ("we," "us") collects when you use this site, why, and what rights you have over it. We collect the minimum needed to generate and deliver your report — nothing more.

// WHAT WE COLLECT

When you run a free scan, your name and date of birth are processed in your browser session to generate a preview — this is not stored on our servers beyond the immediate request.

When you purchase a full report, we store:

The name and date of birth you provide (used to generate your report)
Your email address (used to send you the PDF)
Payment reference information relevant to the method you used — e.g. a blockchain transaction hash (crypto), a PayPal transaction ID, or a Telegram payment charge ID. We do not store full card numbers, bank details, or wallet private keys; we never have access to these.
Basic order metadata: when the order was created, when it was paid, and which payment method was used.

// WHY WE COLLECT IT

Solely to generate your report, verify your payment, deliver the PDF to you by email, and maintain a record in case of a payment dispute or support request. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond fulfilling your order.

// WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We use a small number of third-party services to operate this site. Each only receives the minimum data needed to do its job:

Resend (email delivery) — receives your email address and the PDF attachment to deliver your report.
PayPal — if you pay via PayPal.me, PayPal processes that transaction directly; we only see the reference ID you submit to us.
Public blockchain explorers (Etherscan, Blockstream, public Solana RPC nodes) — if you pay by crypto, we query these public services with a transaction hash/ID to verify payment. These services do not receive your name, DOB, or email — only the public transaction reference, which is already visible on the relevant public blockchain regardless of our use of it.
Telegram — if you pay with Telegram Stars, Telegram processes that payment and notifies us it succeeded; we do not see your Telegram account details beyond what's needed to confirm payment.

We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

// HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Order records (name, DOB, email, payment reference) are retained indefinitely for support, dispute resolution, and bookkeeping purposes, unless you request deletion (see below).

// YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data (for example, under Australia's Privacy Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or California's CCPA/CPRA). To exercise any of these, email us at the address below — we'll respond within a reasonable time and confirm once any requested deletion is complete. Note that deleting your record means we can no longer re-send your report or verify a past payment.

// CHILDREN

This site is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor's data has been submitted to us, contact us and we'll delete it.

// SECURITY

We take reasonable technical measures to protect stored data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Payment card and crypto wallet details are never handled or stored by us directly — those are processed entirely by the relevant payment provider or blockchain network.

// CHANGES

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
